3D model description

Whats more fun than smashing things right? Well why not atoms! Okay, I might be pushing things here but this project is both fun and a desktop novelty even if it doesn't cause CERN sleepless nights. The idea here is based on an updated solid state Van de Graaff (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_de_Graaff_generator) design using a high voltage ionizer which I got from eBay and 3D printed like the ones used in the Cockcroft-Walton accelerators (see here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399694535660296524/) used in the early days of atom smashing before the cyclotron became king of the hill! Now even though this is only powered by 5volts (input) the output voltage will shock you so be forewarned! So build this at your own risk, however it makes a great desktop novelty as people will be drawn to touch not expecting such a shocking experience!

Build Parts:
While the body can be PLA or ABS you will need a conductive filament (http://amzn.to/2nknK1v) for the torus and high voltage ionizer (https://goo.gl/68id9G) along with USB cable extender (http://amzn.to/2of17A8)
