3D model description

This is my model of the Ford GT GTE Steering Wheel. This car has won the 24h of Le Mans and has a typical American design for a wheel.

The model has 2 boxes. 1 box is for a printer with a bigger printbed(cr10) and 1 for smaller printbed(ender 3).

The models needs a 3.5" Nextion. Bigger or smaller will not fit. You need to attach the nextion to the box at the back. So you have no screws on the frontplate.

I should use 2 arduino's to get it all work. 1 arduino for the Nextion and 1 arduino for all the buttons.
you could use the following small hubs, so you only need 1 usb:

https://www.tindie.com/products/mux/microhub-the-smallest-usb-hub-with-connectors/

https://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/products/extensions-and-networking/micro-usb-hub-v2

The box is ready to screw on a Leo Bodnar BU0836A-NC.

For the buttons you need 12mm ones. Rotary encoders is up to you.

For the stickers i advise to take glossy sticker paper. Sticker file is included!

Nextion file is included.

Materials needed:
m3 - 10mm for shifters and nextion
m3 - nut
m3 - 16mm for shifters and for the front + box
m4 - 16mm for the grips
m4 - nut
m5 - 50mm for the wheel on your osw
m2 - 10mm for leo bodnar.
10x5 neodymium magnets. (I prefer N52)
Nextion 3.5”
Leo bodnar BU0836A
GX12 4 pin connector
Frontplate needs to be 4mm aluminium or 3/4mm carbon.

When using 3mm carbon you have to edit the grips because i made it for 4mm thickness.

For personal use only - non commercial - not for resale.
You cannot sell the digital model, a derivative or adaptation of the model, nor can you sell prints of the model.
