3D model description

So I was going through some of my old stuff and cleaning out some old prints from my workshop and I came across some of these models I had printed some 2 years ago. What actually happened back then was I was learning to make some video games or online renders and had a ton of these weird and fancy looking 3d models (Mostly free I guess ......) and other software. I thought about trying to print some of these models with my 3d printer so I picked some fancy ones (clearly a bad move by a 3d printing newbie). Most of the models, of course, were too complex and marvelously posed hence unprintable. I know because I tried .... darn! just remembering the troubles is making me loose confidence...again.. :((
Anyways so the models which I did manage to clean and make work were printed and stashed in a cabinet somewhere at the back of my workshop. Since I have now started to post my models and makes I decided why not try to share some of these with the community. So here they are, for your printing and hair pulling pleasure (lol don't worry much these are tested as shown in images). Do try to print them and share a make also you can ask if there is any problem. Good Luck

P.S. I tried to finish this model and had some success with it. The process I used was sanding it with increasing grit sandpaper and in the end I used some transparent spray laquer as I wanted to paint the model and those fancy filler sprays are not available in my country :((
as expected I quit after just the spray laquer and did not paint this ....... because laziness :)

3D printing settings

You might need supports for this model also. So use supports smartly based on your printers abilities. A raft will help with adhesion. The model I printed was without the base and you can also remove the base by using "Separate shells" or similar options in a relevant 3D design software (Try Mesh mixer or 3D Builder, also some slicers have the option to separate shells). I would recommend printing the model WITH the base. Do carefully see the print preview to know where you will require supports and if you print the model with base as is, I assume there will be a weak bond with the base so you might, in theory, be able to remove it from base with some work (NOT TESTED). I am adding the file in which the model is merged with the base BUT it has suffered some detail loss due to the merge process so it is there if you want but I will NOT recommend printing that.
