3D model description

IAI Kfir
The "lion cub" of the Heyl Ha'Avir is a multirole combat aircraft derived from the Mirage 5.
After the embargo in 1967 and the missed delivery of 50 Mirage 5J ,specifically built following IAF requests, Israel decided to build their own Mirage without Dassault licence.
It is not clear as things gone: if Israel stealed the construction projects in a way worthy of a spy movie story or simply they obtained help from other Countries that had the Mirage, or as someone claims , France made a hidden delivery of 50 Mirage 5 standard instead of the 5J variant ordered and already payed ... or a mix of all that ... but at the end , in 1971, the Nesher born.
The decison of apply the american J-79 to the airframe gave birth to the Kfir in 1973; this aircraft had performances far better than the original Mirage 5.
Kfir entered service with the IAF in 1975 and was not exported to a large number of other countries due to restrictions imposed by the US government on sales of J-79.
Curious note: another similar plane, the South African Cheeta, was born in similar way after another embargo and with large technical assistance from Israel.

Model 1:100 scale printed at 1:285 with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers.

Printed as shown in the image.
