Exclusively on Cults!

I love my Quadric Surfaces Set! Together this was a vision I had before I ever had access to a 3D printer. Some of the prints were the first ones I ever made and later I finished the set in ways I did not initially imagine. Each surface has a story and has been used and loved in my Multivariable Calculus classes since the day they were printed and I hope for several more years to come.

They were all designed and printed to stand at the same height, to work well for display by me during discussion in front of a classroom, and to be large enough for students to get their hands on them to really feel the shapes and the curves. We refer to these often throughout the course.

Simplify3D published an article about my work in February 2019.

Created with Mathematica and printed on my MakerGear M3-ID.

Note: Some files are rather large since I was working to get a very high resolution. I printed these in Spring 2017 and Summer 2018
