3D model description

Three bladed Messerschmitt BF109 G10 propeller and spinner.

14" diameter 8" pitch. 6mm prop shaft diameter.

Propeller is 4 piece construction consisting of three blades and a hub. Spinner is 2 piece (spinner and mounting plate).

Successfully thrust tested with Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 4250-500KV Brushless Outrunner Motor.

With a 4S battery it produced 2.3 Kg of thrust at peak discharge and is capable of over 30,000rpm.

I have a video of the thrust testing and will upload it shortly.

WARNING

3D printed props can be very dangerous if unbalanced or printed incorrectly. Ensure you print the blades horizontally otherwise the prop will not be strong enough and can shatter. It is highly recommended that you balance the prop before use to lessen vibrations. Always thoroughly test the prop before flight and take necessary precautions (eye protection and stay well back).
