3D model description

Many of us have Wyze security cameras. The trick is to make the cameras blend in without being detected. Our Pens and Pencils Holder allows you to place your camera inside a well ventilated holder. The accessory holder front opening offers a similar look to the exterior design on the box. This will allow the camera lens to blend into the exterior design of the holder making it hardly detectable from a short distance away. A person looking at holder will notice that it contains pens and pencils and distract the user from detecting the camera in the holder.

The following Files are included:
Security Camera Pens and Pencils Holder – entire camera enclosure
Security Camera Accessory Shelf – shelf which sits on top of the mount
Security Camera Accessory High Mount – centers the camera in the enclosure and positions the placement of the accessory shelf above the camera.

It is also important that the holder is well ventilated to prevent the camera from getting too hot. The camera holder has been designed to allow the heat to disperse from the camera out the rear and top of the holder. Provide 12” free space at the rear of the holder to allow the camera to vent properly. During our testing within an air conditioned house, the pens and pencils holder was warm with continuous use.

According to Wyze: According to Wyze: The camera can have a operating temperature range of - (32℉ – 104℉ / 0Β°C – 40 Β°C)

Requirements:
15% infill
Black PLA
Supports Everywhere for pens and pencils holder
no support for high mount or shelf

Slicing Instructions:

  1. Import the .STL into your slicing program. There are 3 .STL files. Slice them individually and print them one at a time.

  2. In respect to the pens and pencils holder, use supports everywhere. This will create supports around the rear rectangle, in the top opening and around the perimeter over the decorative design. The entire interior of the box should not be filled in. Bridging will be used to close the rear of the camera box unless you desire a completely smooth interior. If you desire a smooth backing to your box without bridging, turn off bridging and supports will be added in the entire interior of the box. This will use a lot more support material within the interior of the box. By default bridging is used and the entire interior should not be filled in.

  3. Both the camera shelf and camera mount do not use any supports.

Printing Instructions:

Since the camera lens is black, it only makes sense to print your camera box in black. This will allow the circular camera lens to blend into the boxes circular design.

Print each of the 3 parts separately.
