3D model description

#####Remix of the eowindel MK8 :

Adaptation of the MK8 extruder so that it can be fitted in place of the original discoeasy 200 extruder.

The fixing screws can be reused and the pneumatic connection can be removed.

WARNING: As the operation to unlock the filament is the opposite of the original one, it is necessary to drill the missing hole in the rear face on which the extruder is mounted. Drilling diameter 3.

For information, the system is 7mm higher than the front panel, which should be sufficient for the original tray, which is 8.5mm higher.

I couldn't test with this tray as mine is raised by a height adjustment system.

Necessary equipment in addition to the original parts :

  • 1 gear wheel MK8

  • 1 bearing 624ZZ

  • 1 Spring

  • 1 screw BTR 4x10

  • 1 screw BTR 4x20

  • 1 screw BTR 5x8

Personally I used the screws and spring from an Amazon ALU MK8 extruder kit.
