3D model description

This is my first mount for a 600tvl CMOS camera with a servo controlled pitch. I use the gimbal control from the NAZA-M Lite flight controller on my DJI 550 Flamewheel. I used FreeCAD for the design. It uses a 7.6 gram servo and a Traxxas 5x10x4mm ball bearing. The Ball Bearing is pressed onto the post. and the two-piece camera bracket pinches the bearing and the servo's control horn.

This is a work in progress, as I'm not sure of the performance of this servo. The rails that support this mount are 12mm in diameter and spaced 68mm apart on center. The mount is secured with a couple of cable ties. I'll see if that is sufficient.

If anyone in interested with adapting this, you're free to use the FreeCAD file. I'm new at all this, so the FreeCAD file may be a bit confusing. Good luck.

Manufacturing settings

Designed from scratch using FreeCAD. Build using PLA and ABS with an E-Flite DS76 Sub-micro Servo and a Traxxas Blue sealed 5x10x4mm Ball Bearing.

I modeled the 600tvl camera, the servo and the bearing. I used them along with a range of sketches (2D artwork, extruded in shapes) to cut and add to various primitive objects (cubes, cylinders etc.) to create the final shapes. Added some fillets to round off the edges.

Exported the shapes as STL files and printed them on an UP! Plus 2 printer.
