3D model description

Hi There,

ENGLISH:

To make a DIY T-shirt Folder, I had to create these small hinges with offset to allow the folder to be "folded" on itself. Like this, i can store it in a small place, when not used.

The MDF wood for the folder is 6mm thick, the first hinge allows a 6mm offset, and the second one allows a 12mm offset.

The main piece of the hinge is the same for the 2 offsets.

In order to realise one hinge, you'll have to print 2 main parts (corps.stl) , and 2 pivots of the same size (Pivot_Long.stl or Pivot_court.stl).

To assemble the 4 parts to make one hinge, just use two M2.5 x 40 mm screw and 2 M2.5 nuts.

To assemble the hinge on the wood, use two M 2.5 x 6mm screw and two M2.5 nuts.

By rescaling the parts, you can make bigger models.

F3D files can be downloaded, for adaptation to your own needs.

Hope this thing will be usefull for someones.

If someone want's the T-shirt folder machine design (Fusion 360 file), just ask me ...

Enjoy

EDIT 2020-05-12: Added .f3d Fusion 360 File, as required.

To create a T-shirt folder, I had to create these little hinges with an offset to allow the folder to be "folded" on itself. This way, I can store it in a small place when not in use.

The MDF wood of the folder is 6 mm thick, the first hinge allows a 6 mm offset and the second allows a 12 mm offset.

The main part of the hinge is the same for both offsets.

To make a hinge, you have to print 2 main parts (body.stl) and 2 pivots of the same size (Pivot_Long.stl or Pivot_short.stl).

To assemble the 4 parts to form a hinge, simply use two M2.5 x 40 mm screws and 2 M2.5 nuts.

To mount the hinge to the wood, use two screws M 2.5 x 6 mm and two nuts M2.5.

By resizing parts, you can create larger models.

F3D files can be downloaded to be adapted to your needs.

I hope this thing will be useful for some people.

If someone wants the drawing of the T-shirt folder (Fusion 360 file), just ask me ...

Enjoy

EDIT 2020-05-12: Added .f3d Fusion 360 file, as requested.
