This marble sculpture in the Jardin du Luxembourg depicts a man kneeling with a discus at his feet. Little is known about this sculpture but it can either by a reworking of the famous Discobolus sculpture (also uploaded on Scan The World, access it here!) or a depiction of the famous mythological story of Hyacinth, read more about it from the sculpture at the Louvre here.
