The Squonk is always sad. This is because of its truly wretched appearance.
When glimpsing a Squonk, one immediatly notices its ill-fitting skin as well as its warts and other “imperfections.”
It hates how it looks and will begin sobbing when sighted.
The critter may evade being caught by dissolving itself into a pool of tears and bubbles when threatened.
