3D model description

Chompy, The Filament Shark cuts the ends of your filament leaving a nice 40ΒΊ shark bite across the end of the filament. Chompy doesn't leave filament ends everywhere, and has a big stomach for holding many filament ends.

When Chompy is full, just lift the (magnetically latched) fin to let it poop all the waste filament into the bin.

This is a relatively simple print. If you can print the card box, this should be easy. No support required.

You can see Chompy in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVJGpDeQzrk

You need:
2x 10mmØ x 3mm thick magnets
30mm m3 nut and bolt
12-16mm m3 nut
A spring, around 5 - 6.5mm Ø and 15-20mm long.
A 9mm box cutter blade - available from most hardware stores.
A dab of superglue in case the blade is a bit thin and doesn't want to stay in place.

3D printing settings

No supports. 0.15 layers. PLA should be fine.
