Exclusive to Cults

I designed this to hold two pieces of material together while gluing. I needed it to open to 50mm (2 inches) and to be as strong as possible without requiring extra bits and pieces. Thread has ample tolerance and is strong at 100%, so should easily scale up. (please let me know if you get this to huge scales)

Here are some of the unique features of this clamp:

  • No separate nuts, bolts, screws, or glue are required for assembly.

  • Can be scaled to your needs.

  • Prototype printed in PLA in a couple of hours and is very strong for the filament used.

3D printing settings

Print as separate pieces:

Please print the main G body on its side and print with supports.

The screw piece should be printed upright with no supports required.

Print the pressure plate flat and no supports are required.

Prototype printed with 8 layers for outer shell and 10% infill (total 45g) - very strong as is but this could be printed solid for maximum strength.
