The Exploding Circle 2

Some may call it the trippiest thing to come off of a 3D Printer since the conception of 3D printing. The Exploding Circle, previously existing only as a 3D rendering in the world of the YouTube, has been brought to the real (simulated) world. After repeatedly kicking the behind of its creator, the gears have aligned. Once every 2pi radians, the segments of the circle come together, only to re-explode as the crank keeps spinning.

The Exploding Circle engineered kinetic sculpture is a mesmerizing example of how you can use spur gears, bevel gears, and planetary gears to create interesting motion.

This download includes all of the STL files needed to 3D print your own Exploding Circle sculpture and requires no additional tools for assembly. WD-40 or another type of lubricant is recommended for smooth operation.

THIS IS AN ADVANCED MODEL TO 3D PRINT - the tolerances required for this print to work well are tight, this means your printer settings need to be dialed. Consider yourself warned XD. (Assembly is pretty easy though)
