Line Minder

Based on the original Strike-Guard fishing accessory design Pat 3654722 from 1970.
Fishing with multiple poles? Use Line Minder to help identify when a fish is on. Once the fish takes the bait the line will pull out of Line Minder with an audible click.

Loose a pole overboard or into the water? Line Minder will keep your pole where you leave it by letting the fish take the line with no drag until you get to the pole to real it in.

Line Minder works by allowing the bail to remain open while precisely controlling the length of line out and the amount of force a fish must apply before they get the bait.

This provides the ability to:
Carefully control the depth you are fishing at
Allow the fish to freely take the bait and feel no resistance after the line has pulled out of Line Minder which can cause the fish to not swallow the bait
Protect the pole from being pulled overboard or into the water from an aggressive fish
Fish with multiple poles at the same time while listening for the audible click that signals a bite to increase the chance of hooking the big one!
Once the fish has taken the bait and Line Minder automatically releases the line its business as usual, close the bail, set your hook, and bring it in!
