3D model description

Following the passage of Santa Claus 2021 and in order to highlight my game console (as well as the 20 years of the console), I decided to make this beautiful Bright Xbox Logo.

With a Length of 207mm x Height of 73mm and Depth of 28mm, the model is composed of 24 STL files attached (1 Box, 1 Plate, 1 Cover and all the inserts ( In Shell format in order to let the light emitted by the Leds bands pass through) for the big logo and all the lettering. Two types of feet are also provided, one to put the Logo directly on the console (by nesting in the holes of the top of the console without interfering with the ventilation) and another to put the Logo on a shelf or other. The box, cover and face plate are printed in 0.20 and 60mm/s, on the other hand all the inserts are in 0.10 and 20mm/s (the thinner the layer thickness, the better the rendering, the same for the printing speed), concerning the printing of the inserts (Logos and Lettering), according to the expansion or shrinkage of your filament, try printing by playing with the scale of the insert in your Slicer (For example, for me under Cura 4.12, the scale of the inserts is 98.5% to compensate for the expansion of the filament I use), I remind you that there is an STL file per insert. Having proceeded with inserts allows to print with all 3D printers and to give relief to the lettering (see photo) by not pushing the inserts all the way onto the plate.

Regarding the lighting, 3 strips of 20cm roll led strip in cold white preferably in 5VDC in order to connect it in USB directly to the back of the console and to have a lighting of the logo at the start of the console or possibly in 12VDC if we want to put the Xbox Bright Logo on a shelf using a classic power supply with a 5.1 jack and a switch. On the Xbox Luminous Logo I put a female jack (through the wall) to plug the power supply (5VDC or 12VDC depending on the choice you made).

All the products used to make the lighting are available on all good merchant sites at lower costs.

The assembly of the Xbox Lighted Logo remains a meticulous work, it takes a little patience, but what a satisfaction when you see the result.

I hope this creation will please the followers of the brand and will give a personal touch to your Geek corner.
