3D model description

This model is a design I refined over a few weeks to solve the original battery door issue on the Dovpo Topside Dual Squonk vape mod. On the original mod, the battery door retention was terrible and their is no way to fix it and since I was cheap, I decided to design a cage to hold the door closed while in use.

Unfortunately, I was unable to design the model such that it keep positive retention of the battery door and still allowed for refilling so the cage must be slipped off to refill or to change batteries. However, it is quite easy to take on and off and I have been using mine daily for over a month with zero issues.

My design is for going around a 24mm RDA though 22mm or 26mm should work.

To install, start by sliding your RDA through the hole on the top of the cage, then stretch the base plate over the battery door, now slide the cage forward till it sits in place. Should be quite snug.

-Printed in TPU with 100% infill
-Laid horizontal with flat base plate surface on print deck
-Will require full supports to print
-Mileage may very based on your experience with TPU printing
