Hot Tub / Inflateable Spa - Filter Cartridge

Was fed up of paying stupid prices for spa filters that only last a few days, designed this cartridge to replace it, just use Aquarium Filter Floss Wool around the inside cut to size of width & wrapped around spindle overlapped, slot together inside outer part, use in place of the original filters. just need to replace the wool, lot cheaper to buy in meter lengths off ebay and just cut to size !

designed to print without supports

when printed slot in the same way it printed top to bottom at a slight angle. so when together both parts that was on the bed are together

although the filter works perfectly fine without,
you can also get 0.5mm thin silicone sheeting stick with a strong double sided tape, stick to top and bottom edges
and trim with an acto knife if you prefer.

used on my Wave Spa - also fit options like Lay Z Spa / intex
that use the same filters

SOME FILTERS COMPRESS WHEN FITTED IN THE HOUSING, MY WAVE FILTER IS 81MM BUT COMPRESSES TO 76MM WHEN FITTED IN THE HOUSING..... MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE HEIGHT BEFORE SETTING TO PRINT, SOME FIT THE STANDARD 81MM WITHOUT COMPRESSING

CHANGE HEIGHT IN SLICER, I USE S3D, JUST TAKE OFF UNIFORM SCALING, SELECT BOTH PIECES TOGETHER, AND ALTER THE HEIGHT TO SUIT. THE REST IS THE SAME EITHER WAY.

recommend printing in pet-g or nylon for durability & to the water heat.
