3D model description

Complete the look of your Space Shuttle 10283 set with this impressive, fully 3D printed, Solid Rocket Booster and External tank kit. The product comes with files for the two white SRB rockets and the large orange external tank perfectly scaled to the model. Featuring a sturdy mounting solution to attach it to the set using a set of adaptors that connect to the shuttle's landing gear. From there, there are 3 ways to display the shuttle and rocket stages.

  1. A clean minimal wall mount that hooks onto the back of the external tank (orange rocket) using a wall plug and screw which is included in the kit. (suitable for both drywall and masonry walls)

  2. Utilising the existing stand included with the Shuttle, this along with a base support to ensure correct stability for the rocket assembly to be proudly presented in a horizontal setup. Also featured on the 3D printed base is an attachment point for the Shuttle's display card.

  3. A pair of base stands modelled to mimic the service masts from the launch pad, the whole rocket assembly can be placed on a flat surface and look launch ready.

The product will include detailed professionally illustrated instructions for complete the assembly. You will need 750g of orange filament, 650g of white filament, 200g of black filament and 400g of grey filament (grey is optional if you want to print the launch stands). Almost all parts print without support, this is detailed further in the instructions guide.

The external tank and SRB rocket assembly on their own measure 80cm tall, 28cm wide and 13cm deep.
With the shuttle mounted on it is 35cm wide and 35cm deep.
