3D model description

What:

Design features a working revolver mechanism, making that organizer an addictive toy.

Cylinder comes in 2 variants: 8-shot Standard and 6-shot Magnum.
Standard is 11mm caliber - suitable for pens, pencils etc.
Magnum is 18mm - perfect for thicker markers, toothbrushes etc.

*sadly, synchronization in Magnum is a bit off - gears were designed only for 8-shot.
Still spins though :P

Why:

Years ago I designed this:

Now I wanted to make a new revision showing my progress since then.

I wanted to make a mechanical design without BOM. All components should be printable, including print-in-place bearings (or kind-of bushings).

Well, bearings still require some grease, which is hard to print.

This project was a spring design study - 3 of them were used to 1. preload the trigger, 2. push the cylinder ratchet, and 3. cylinder stop. There's still a place for 1 or 2 more to make the movement more accurate. I also included different spring variants for different fun levels.
