3D model description

When your wife ask for a 3D printed part, you have to do your best to deliver. My wife asked for a brochure holder for her library. She didn't like the holders that were short and allowed the brochures to flop over.

We designed ours with an opening to see the brochure title but still support 90% of the brochure's length. We would have made it longer, but this was near the limit in size for the printer.

Inside the bottom slops downward. The idea is for the brochures to naturally move down and up against the front face. I works when full.

I have plans for a back support to be added later. This would help as the holder gets empty and the brochures have space to bend over.

We used only 2 walls and 0.24 layer height. We used supports everywhere. Print time was 17 hours, so the large size will take awhile to print.

I think it turned out great.
