3D model description

High quality 3D print files to take your cosplay the the next level

A good cosplay prop is a time and labor consuming task, and sometimes making small and intricate details look good is just a nightmare. Iv been there, having a good looking 3D model is not always enough. As a prop maker who makes props from the 3D modeling stage to the final layer of lacquer, I knew I need to make this process more cosplayer friendly and to optimize your work flow. I've put alot of time and and learning into my 3D modeling approach from a range of different props. More specifically the building process.

Every 3D model from start to finish I think about things like print orientation, reducing support usage, increase strength, tolerance and even the assembly and disassembly of the prop. I also make many other improvements to my models you won't see very offen in other listings. For example dividing parts by colour for easier painting and\or sanding. Introducing metal rods, screws and pins for better strength and part alignment.

All this improvements have driven the quality of my models making them far less stressful and more reliable for your prop making experience.

Main goals for this model was 1 - It must glow (small lower wings has space for batteries) 2 - It must be modular for easy transportation (wings and rod are detacheble). This model has some tricky to print parts, you have to be confident in your first layer adhesion, you have to have the ability to place custom supports(for the best results). A little readme file with more info is included. Various M3 screws, square M3 nuts and superglue/epoxy are required for assembly. Main star frame consists of 16 parts 8 front 8 back, it's better to glue as precise as possible, I used gel superglue and it worked great and holding strong. (don't forget to remove your printer's build plate residue from parts before glueing ) For white rod you can use PVC pipe for example.

If you have any questions or encountered problems with a model, please contact me first.

*Buying this model you agree to personal use only. You can't redistribute this file to anyone else or sell 3d prints.
