Have constructed and printed this grid, for the places in the garden where the robotic mower always digs in.

You dig the grid just below the surface, fill it with soil, and then you sow grass at the spot. The grid grows together with the lawn and becomes super firm.

The robot can no longer dig and dig in at this point, or destroy the lawn.

And as with all my designs - use at your own risk!

The trellis is dug in just under the surface, filled with soil and then lawn is sown in place. The grid grows together with the lawn and we are super strong.

At this point, the robot can no longer dig and dig itself in or destroy the lawn.
