📝 Description

Another Bambu Labs X1C Waste Bin. This one however has a see through window allowing you to see if it needs to be emptied at a glance. There are two sizes included here, a smaller one for space saving and those of you who don't run a lot of filament swaps, and an XL which will give you considerably more space and should handle most prints.

The see through window works by sliding through 3 microscope slides https://amzn.to/44Qmed7 (the ones I used) into the slot on the bin. You can alternatively take a 2L plastic bottle and cut an appropriate window, but the glass looks amazing.

🖨️ Printing Tips

I printed these without supports, just orient them so they don't need supports. The bin prints straight up. Just be sure you have bridging options enabled for the couple of gaps that it has to bridge. Prints in a few hours on an bambu. NOTE: If you do use a bambu to print these you must increase your build volume to 252mm. The bin uses more than the stock 250mm bed volume. Bambu allows you to use up to 256 of Z but the slicer is set to 250. There is a screen shot of the settings attached here. otherwise, straightforward print. Go crazy on speed :)

🔗 Additional Information

Slide in the 3 slides https://amzn.to/44Qmed7 or whatever brand you buy. I have no affiliation to this brand, just what I used. Use a cut up plastic bottle if you prefer not to buy the glass slides. The magnets you need to attach the top are 6x3mm magnets https://amzn.to/3Kqwm3U are ones I used. Just press fit those into the holes on the lid. You're ready to go!

When it comes to hardware, I rely heavily on Bambu Lab 3D printers. My A1 Mini https://rb.gy/uofj5 is a staple in my office, while my fleet of X1C Carbons https://rb.gy/9r2az ensures rapid and high-quality production. #ComissionsEarned which help support my free model development.
