3D model description

This holder allows you to place the build plate vertical over the vat, ensuring no spills outside while speeding up the drainage of excess resin back into the vat.

This holder is installed on the side of the vat and does not interfere with the build plate or the lid when closed (see pictures). It does not require any additional hardware and is printable without supports.

UPDATE: v2 reinforces the bolt slot as I found, after about a year of use, my bolt slot had cracked. I also added slots that (1) reduce material usage when printing and (2) allow a plastic spatula to be held over the build plate after using it for cleaning (see photo, making note the photo is the Saturn 3 version, but the implementation of the slots is the same.)

3D printing settings

This file was sliced in Prusa 2.6.0 at 0.2mm layer height and 40% infill. It was printed on an Ender 5 Plus using PETG.
