Skull Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin Light Up with Bottom Closure - Commercial Use

This listing is for the commercial use of my Skull Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin.

I made this Jack-o-lantern to sit on my mantle for the Halloween season. I designed this to have a bottom closure rather than having a lid with a crack where light can shine through. It has a stem that slides on top, it is a tight fit, so no glue is needed. The bottom has a candle holder plug to hold a battery tea light candle that rotates to secure in place. I used a flickering one to resemble a real candle that is on a timer so I don’t need to manually take out the candle to turn it on.

I printed the stem with a layer height of .1 to capture as much detail as possible with 3 perimeters and 10% infill. I used tree supports for the stem.

For the pumpkin, I used a layer height of .12, 3 perimeters and 15% infill. If you don’t use enough perimeters and infill, the light will start to shine through the main body of the pumpkin. I painted on build plate only tree supports in specific areas. These are the top of the eyes, the top teeth, the upper corners of the mouth, and then the inside of the flat part of the dome in the ceiling. I imagine it would be a pain to remove supports from all the round parts of the ceiling and mine printed fine without that.

The bottom candle holder piece requires supports under the tabs only.

When you rotate the bottom piece in, don’t force it. You may not have removed all of the supports under the tabs. Make sure you have and then try again. It will be a little snug but you shouldn’t need pliers to untwist it.
