3D model description

This is a variant for Secret Hitler, but with a Harry Potter Theme. Something my wife wanted, but was not available for 3D print. So, I took the Secret Hitler 3D Print, used inspiration from a Print-n-Play for Secret Voldemort I found on BGG, and created this.

You have two options: You could be cool, and use a 0.2 nozzle for some hi-resolution stuff like Policies with text on them and character portraits...

Or you could be lame, and use a 0.4 nozzle all the way through. I have included lo-res lame stuff as a replacement for the policies and portraits the cool people will be using.

To be clear, most of this was printed with a 0.4 nozzle. The only things I used the 0.2 nozzle for were character portraits and the policies.

Besides the obvious changes I made to the Secret Hitler files, I added a small tray to hold the vote cards and any extra characters (I made extra characters because... well, just because. You only need six OoP and four Death Eaters (including Voldemort). There's also an empty space in the tray for... stuff. I dunno. Whatever you want to put in there.

The rules we tend to forget are on the placards and the bottom of the new box.

Snape COULD be used as either a Death Eater or an Order of the Phoenix. But really, he's a jerk who only turned traitor so he could get in Lily's pants or pretend she liked him, so you should use him as a Death Eater, like we did.

I sized the character cards so they were snug in the 'passports'. If you want them to come out more easily (for inspection when it comes up) you could simply size them down about 5% on your slicer. Otherwise, they should pop right in (or maybe need a slight trim along one edge, depending on your tolerances).

It may not be clear from the photos, but each policy has text written on it, with some sort of relevant, likely policy from the side it's on. It doesn't affect gameplay at all, but is way cooler than just saying "Order of the Phoenix Policy" or "Death Eater Policy". Be cool. Use the fancy ones. Otherwise, your dog might leave you. Don't disappoint your dog.

Almost every part of this print is done in two colors. It looks way cooler that way. Not with a multi-color printer; just swapping out the filament at the right time during the print; so you don't need anything special. You could just do one color and paint, but c'mon. Step up and figure it out. It really isn't that tough - even I managed to do it, and I'm an idiot (as I'm sure you've already figured out for yourself). For the Creality CR-10S that I used, I had to insert the code G4 S120 in the line where I wanted the printer to pause (just open up the .gcode in Notepad++ in Windows). It would be right after the 'Layer' statement. Google it. Pretty easy.
