The rail accessories will fit my other guns equipped with a RIS rail.

The MK18 MOD 0 designation was given to the full rifle, consisting of CQBR upper receiver and M16A1 lower receiver. The Close Quarter Battle Receiver (CQBR) is a replacement upper receiver for the M4A1 Carbine, developed by the US Navy. The MK18 is usually issued as a complete weapon system, and not just an upper receiver.
Equipped with a 10,3" barrel makes the weapon significantly more compact, thus making it easier to use in, and around, vehicles and in tight, confined spaces.
