3D model description

These horns are designed to sit forward over the forehead by a little bit, like a tiefling's!

The printed horns are 6" from base to tip if not counting the base, 9.5" long if counting the base, and about 1.75" wide at the widest point.

I wanted the horns to be light and easily taken on and off, so the horns are designed to be held on with elastic beading cord that sits just behind the hairline. There are 4 sets of holes at the base of the horns for you to easily thread two lengths of cord through and tie into a headband. If printed at the suggested infill, the horns will stay on with just those two cords so long as you don't shake your head really hard! If you want some added stability, a dab of skin-safe adhesive on the forehead under each horn will make sure they don't slide around, or you can create your own headgear for them.

Included are two STL files, one for each side.

I suggest printing them at 10% infill! If they are too heavy, the beading cord won't be as efficient.

If you scale them down, the holes for the beading cord may be too small, so please keep that in mind if you scale them!

To create the headband as designed, you will need 2 lengths of elastic beading cord about 24" long (depending on head size). Thread one cord through the TOP HOLES ONLY; then thread the other cord through the BOTTOM HOLES ONLY. Carefully lift the horns by the cords and put the horns on your head - adjust as desired - then just tie a knot with the cords, trim your ends, and you're done!
