3D model description

A simple penny counter for US Pennies. Just drop them in the top, count the tick marks, and you know how many pennies you've got. Each tick is centered on the penny (i.e. each tick should be in the middle of the penny). Once you've counted, just pour them out of the top.

I've printed and use this at work for counting pennies in registers, worked well for me.

3D printing settings

Use a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.12 layer height. The ticks are 1.52 mm apart, so they won't be perfectly centered when printed, but close enough to be easily useable.

This can be printed with a 0.2 layer height, but the ticks will be off slightly more. (From printing this myself, the 0.12 layer height is better)
