I'll be headed to the Rocky Mountain Rep Rap Festival in Loveland tomorrow, so I thought I would commemorate it. This is a Hextraction tile for use in Zack Freedman's board game that I am excited to play some day. I used his Fusion 360 project as a base and finished everything up in Blender.

"But this tile is so basic, it won't help me crush and demoralize my victims!" Whatever, it's mostly for style points.

The top side is the topography of the location of the event, the Budweiser event center in Loveland, Colorado! The elevation difference is magnified relative to the latitudinal and longitudinal scale to make it more visible, and the slot aligns perfectly with the I-25 freeway so you can simulate traffic on the I-25 corridor! You can see the outline of the event center on the east side of the freeway. On the back, there's a version of the logo for the 2023 RMRRF that I modified to be so simple that it will even print reliably on my shitty partially tuned Ender 3.

Loveland is the home of Aleph Objects and a lot of neat 3D printing. You might say this is a logical next step for a city known for its art and sculpture casting.

I recommend printing at a low layer height to really get good topographical definition. I went with 0.12mm, but I'm sure it would look better if it was done with an SLA printer.
