3D model description

A 1980s Škoda 120 made into a custom widebody racer. The Škoda 120 was a surprisingly formidable rally car back in the day, and managed to even win in races such as the Group B rally. And as I really like how the car looks, I decided to make a more modernized custom version of it. This meant adding racing seats, removing the bumpers, and adding a widebody kit. However, as the standalone 3D model is relatively barebones, it does not necessarily need to be a rally car and you can make it into whatever kind of build you want.

For easy printing, the model is split into 2 parts, roof and body. The full model is also included if you find that better.
The spoiler and wheels are not of my design but you can download them directly from the source.

You do not have strictly use any of these, these are simply the ones that I used.
To make assembly easier, I added grooves for the axles. So to install the wheels, put them on an axle (around 2mm, preferably but not sctrictly metal), place them in the grooves at the bottom, and glue a piece of plastic over them. You can either glue everything in place or keep it as is if you want the wheels to spin.

To mount the spoiler level, I cut out two small triangles out of some plastic foam board. I also used some of it to make the seat straps, which are not printed.

The entire model was then airbrushed with a metallic primer and coated with metallic gray paint. Everything else was then hand painted with a brush and model paint.

So far, this is my biggest project to date, and I am not planning on making anything like this anytime soon. But if you want me to make a simpler, Hot Wheels-like model of different car, just let me know.
