Pythagoras believed that through numbers, the universe and all its secrets could be revealed.

This is a fully functioning historically accurate replica of the legendary Antikythera Mechanism at 1.5:1 scale. With 300+ components, assemble the mechanism the same way the original maker had. Based on Professor Tony Freeth's 2012 & 2021 Research Paper, and is just awesome. . .

Definition
The Mechanism of Antikythera (originally called Table or Tablet, Ξ Ξ™ΞΞ‘Ξž, Ξ Ξ™ΞΞ‘ΞšΞ™Ξ”Ξ™ΞŸΞ) is a dedicated astronomical analogue computer that uses bronze gear wheels to perform specific mathematical calculations to accurately simulate the natural phenomena of celestial bodies, and depict their location in the sky at any given time.

The YouTube channel Clickspring documents the creation of an Antikythera mechanism replica using the tools, techniques and materials that would have been available in ancient Greece.

With assembly instructions that make it clear how to assemble the mechanism.
