3D model description

One of the most popular 3D printed bullet feeders uses a solid collator wheel. While jams are not very common, they do happen especially when setting up a new bullet type or size. When a jam occurs, the motor is forced to stop while still powered. This isn't good for the motor. Additionally, depending on the type of motor you are using, it can be difficult to clear the jam if you don't have a reverse switch installed.

This wheel uses an adjustable friction clutch-type hub that will allow the motor to turn if the wheel gets jammed. Adjust the bolt tension just enough so the wheel will turn with whatever size load of bullets you like to use but will still allow the hub to turn if you stop the wheel.

The "clutch" incorporates a handle for easy wheel removal. (Also makes the assembly look like a roulette wheel.)

This wheel is for 9mm. I plan to post one for .223/5.56 and .30 cal as well.

Uses two M4x16 bolts, 2 nuts, and 2 washers

Added .223 collator wheel. (I have not printed this yet. Print at your own risk.)
Added .308 collator wheel. (I have not printed this yet. Print at your own risk.)

The original STL files were not "watertight". I repaired them using this free online STL repair service. https://www.formware.co/OnlineStlRepair

**3/6/2021
After printing the .223 plate, I realized I made some fitment errors that need to be fixed. This will also affect the .308 plate so I pulled those files. I will re-upload those when they are fixed.

**3/13/2021
1. The .223 Plate is repaired and back up.
2. The .223 Hub is back up. (Each Plate has its own Hub but the Clutch is universal.)

**3/14/2021
1. The .308 Plate is repaired and back up.
2. The .308 Hub is back up. (Each Plate has its own Hub but the Clutch is universal.)
