3D model description

This mod is specifically designed to decrease both CPU and GPU temperatures by operating fans at lower speeds, resulting in reduced noise levels. The PRO version of the modification incorporates less plastic and features round grill bars. Moreover, the mod has been optimized specifically for the Noctua NF-A12x25, which explains the specific location of the support bars rather than regular aftermarket grills.

To install the mod, begin by removing the top mesh. Straighten the pins from the bottom side and proceed to install the mod, securing it to the fan from above using screws.

It is important to note that this mod is not permanent, allowing you to revert back to the stock mesh if desired. However, please be aware that I cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during the installation or use of the mod.

For the thermal testing of this mod, the hardware used consisted of a Ryzen 5950x paired with an RTX 3080. The stress tester employed was OCCT Power Test, and the logger utilized was HWINFO.

3D printing settings

This design is only suitable for SLS printing. Regular FDM printers will not work.

The recommended material is Nylon P12 Glass Filled.
