3D printing settings

Layer Height: 0.1-0.2mm - This determines the vertical resolution of your print. A lower layer height produces finer details but increases print time.

Print Speed: 40-60mm/s - The speed at which the nozzle moves during printing. Higher speeds can reduce print time, but too high may compromise print quality.

Extruder Temperature: 190-220Β°C - PLA typically requires a lower temperature range compared to other materials. Adjust within this range to find the optimal temperature for your specific PLA filament.

Bed Temperature: 50-60Β°C - PLA generally does not require a heated bed, but a slightly warm bed can help with adhesion. Adjust based on your printer and filament.

Cooling Fan: 100% after the first few layers - PLA benefits from active cooling. Set the cooling fan to 100% after the first few layers to improve print quality and reduce the risk of warping.

Infill Density: 20-30% - Determines the internal structure of your print. Higher percentages increase print strength but may require more material and time.

Wall Thickness: 0.8-1.2mm - The thickness of the outer shell of the print. Increase for stronger prints or decrease for faster prints with less material.

Top and Bottom Layers: 3-5 - The number of solid layers at the top and bottom of the print. Increasing this value improves print durability and surface finish.

Retraction: Enabled - Retraction helps reduce stringing and oozing. Enable retraction with a distance of 1-2mm and a speed of 40-60mm/s.

Print Bed Preparation: Use blue painter's tape, a clean glass bed, or apply a thin layer of adhesive like glue stick or hairspray for better adhesion.

Remember, these settings may vary depending on your specific printer, filament brand, and desired print outcome. It's always a good idea to perform test prints and fine-tune the settings based on your observations and requirements.
