3D model description

This is my design of the Barrett M107 A1. It is very similar, outwardly to the M82. My model, if built using my detailed instructions, will have a retractable bolt carrier, movable trigger, foldable rear sight, removable magazine that can be loaded with rounds and a foldable stock. My prop was designed very similarly to the real weapon and can be field stripped much the same way. It comes with a 20" and 29" barrel. While it can chamber a round, I did not design a round ejection mechanism. That may happen in the future, but no guarantees.

A 1/2" Copper pipe should be used to add strength to the barrel. Also, a few other brass pins/tubes and screws will need to be purchased in order to align and strengthen the design for vehicle display.

You will need files, drills, sandpaper, paint and a few other objects and tools to fully build this prop in order to get the most realistic appearance. You will not be able to just print parts and glue together. This model contains a LOT of parts and is NOT a one-piece model. Its not one of those models you just print and glue together. Post processing will be necessary. You should have a FDM printer with a 12" bed. You may be able to subdivide the model for smaller printers using Meshmixer or other software but that is your responsibility. It may not be printable on 3d belt printers. For best results, you should have a FDM printer for most parts. Most parts can be printed at 0.2mm, with 4 walls and ironing enabled. There are a few pieces that would be best printed on a resin printer due to the high detail and accuracy.

This is a prop. NOT A FIREARM. It cannot be made into a real weapon. An airsoft or paintball conversion may be possible, however this was not initially designed for that purpose.

Attention: This model comes in several pieces and is not a solid model. It will have to be put together. Parts may not fit every printer manufactured. If some parts are too large to fit on your printer, you can subdivide them via free programs such as meshmixer or MS 3D Builder.

Some detailed parts would benefit from being printed on a resin printer.
