3D model description

This is a multi modification for Eryone ER-20 printer consists of:

  • Z axis syncronisation with closed loop belt
  • LED lightning to the printer
  • Updated Firmware with improvements

Eryone is using double Z stepper motors but only one stepper driver to power both motors, thats's why the X gantry is sometimes out of sync and you need to manually adjust the gantry to be equal on each side. For that I modified a Z-axis bearing holder to stabilize the Z spindle on each site with a 608 bearing. Original part: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3685936

You need:
- 2 pcs Printed bearing holder
- 2 pcs 608Z or 608ZZ bearing
- 4 pcs M5x8 screws
- 4 T-Nuts M5
- 2 Pulleys 20T for 6mm belt
- GT2 6mm closed loop belt with 670mm

Mounting is pretty simple, you can see from the pictures. Mount bearing holder, insert bearing, use closed belt with pulleys and put over both axis. To adjust equal height following printed tool can be usefull: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5168992

All my printers have LED stripes. So I designed simple LED stripe holder for 8mm LED stripe. Mount it below the top 2020 aluminium profile. cable can be guided inside the 4020 vertical profile and cover it with V slot covers (i used https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4881812) so you won't see the cable. You need to drill small 2-3mm hole on the printer case and connect LED light to the 24V power supply.

Needed parts:
- 1pcs printed LED holder
- Around 30cm LED stripe 24V
- Around 50cm cable
- 4 pcs M5x6 screws
- 4 T-Nuts M5

Firmware modifications for ER-20
I found many smaller items in the firmware which are not perfect, so I compiled my own version based on the latest Version available on Eryone Github: https://github.com/Eryone/STM32 from November 2021

Modifications:
- 3x3 Mesh for ABL
- Modified printer dimensions of heatbed
- Changed Y ACC to 2000 mm/sΒ² due to some ghosting occured in Y axis
- Leveling of Z on the heatbed will be done in center and not any more on front left corner
- Limited Z movement to 170mm due to the Z sync mod

Available in English and German (en and de Ending on files)

Thanks and for any question please use comment function. I may update Firmware files if I find something more worthy to add.
