The 15th and 16th centuries were marked by significant historical events, including the Age of Exploration, colonial expansion, and conflicts that reshaped the world. The Spanish Imperial Army played a pivotal role during this period of territorial conquest, global exploration, and military innovation.
Battles and Wars:
Conquest of the Americas: Spanish conquistadors were at the forefront of the conquest and colonization of the Americas. They participated in campaigns such as Hernán Cortés' conquest of the Aztec Empire (1519-1521) and Francisco Pizarro's conquest of the Inca Empire (1532-1533).
Italian Wars (1494-1559): The Spanish Empire, including its imperial army, played a significant role in the Italian Wars, participating in battles like the Battle of Pavia (1525).
Tactics and Strategies: The Spanish Imperial Army employed a combination of traditional European tactics and innovative strategies. Their tactics involved:
Firearms: Spanish conquistadors were early adopters of firearms, including arquebuses and muskets. These weapons gave them a significant advantage in ranged combat.
Pikemen and Infantry: Pikemen provided a solid defensive formation, while infantry armed with swords and firearms played an essential role in both offense and defense.
Cavalry Charges: Spanish cavalry units were known for their devastating charges, often used to break enemy lines and create chaos on the battlefield.
Siege Warfare: The Spanish Imperial Army excelled in siege warfare, utilizing cannons and artillery to breach enemy fortifications and conquer cities.

Unfortunately, the pre-supported versions are failing a lot, since the supports are either too few or too thin for their count. Good thing they deliver unsupported STLs, too. Printing the pre-supported versions would either require very low retraction speeds or a long exposure time so that the supports will work. But very good looking minis, though!
