3D model description

The Khaos Revolver Kit is a modernized version of the Crosman 3357 with some inspiration taken from the sci-fi video game, Destiny. But this is far from just a 3357 copy.. The Khaos kit has a wide range and improvements made to the design to improve the overall performance and serviceability of the product over the original 3357’s.

Starting with the cylinders, they now use the original 6 shot clips or “cylinder backs” that stick onto the printed cylinder fronts. This means you will be getting the best indexing possible and you can say goodbye to warn out indexing teeth. Any long term ware and just replace the cylinder backs – no need to buy a new cylinder! There are also built-in detents which can be tuned to suit your paint type/size.

Two cylinders are included, one for 0.50cal round ball and one for 0.50cal First Strike rounds.

Now for the front end, the biggest improvement is STRENGTH. This is the a 3rd generation hinge which is printed as a separate modular part and bolted on the kits. This new design is approximately 3-4 times stronger than the Gen 2 hinge and if anything does go wrong, replacement hinges can be printed and bolted on. The revolver latch latches onto an aluminium pin, not plastic, so you can open and close it as many times as you want an not worry about ware and tare!

I recommend drilling the barrel out with a 1/2in drill bit to smooth out any layer lines. This will give you a much tighter bore compared to the 3357's oversized 0.525cal bore.

Velocity is usually around 200fps, but this depends on each revolver and paint type. Velocity adjustment is possible with modification, but the snub nose version is definitely a last-resort/close quarters item!

You will need to get some 6 shot magazines for you revolver: Crossman 6 shot magazine

This kit is compatible with the Crosman Vigilante or Crosman 357W ONLY.

NOTE: Slight modification to the revolver hinge area AND latch needs to be done to complete the conversion, otherwise it will not function correctly. (Rounding out the underside of the latch and filing back the hinge area).

FYI this was originally designed under the Sellswords Paintball licence, but I am migrating everything to Reality Forge Armament.
