Guitar Spraying Jig for FDM 3D Printers! If you are someone who enjoys refinishing guitars like me, you'll know they can be a bit of a nightmare to navigate. So, I created a 3D printable jig that when combined with simple broom handles, makes a full rotating arm jig that allows for easy spraying! No moving parts or bearings are required.

Included are 4 STLs for the various printed parts, as well as instructions on how to put it all together just like I've shown in the photos.

3D printing settings

  • The design and use are intended for PLA filament.

  • Supports are needed when printing the Bottom Rotating Part and are recommended for the Top Rotating Part and Body Block. However, they are not needed for the Base.

  • I would recommend a 50% Infill for the Base

  • I recommend a 50% - 80% Infill for the BRP and TRP, as well as the Body Block. This will increase the sturdiness and lifetime of the respective parts.

  • I recommend investing in a high-quality filament to increase the sturdiness and lifetime of the respective prints.
