3D model description

You want to bring a little Halloween feeling to your wall? How about this creepy bat?

The original size of the file is about 52x20 cm (20,5 "x7,9"). But you can enlarge it as you like or reduce it to about 50% (smaller triangles won't look smooth and the numbers on the back won't be readable). All parts can be printed full size or at 200% on a standard printer bed.

All parts are numbered on the back and you can find the number assignment in the file downloads.

How to get it on the wall:

  • Freestyle: You have a steady hand and a good eye? Then you can start right away, without any help. Just start in the order of the numbers (only parts 4 and 5 will be needed later, but they are too small for a two-digit number). As a little help: the distances between the wings should always be 4 mm, between the body parts like eyes and mouth only 3 mm.

  • Using a paper template: print out the PDF file with the same scale as your printout. Cut out the parts and glue them to the wall. Put all the pieces together like a puzzle

  • Use a projector: just project the PDF file on the wall and scale it according to a pattern piece

Use double-sided tape, hot glue or power strips to attach the pieces to the wall

  • Or take the printable template and print it 1-2% larger than your actual parts using your printer. The template is available in one piece to fit exactly, or divided into 3 parts for larger prints.
