3D model description

I shoot left handed, horrifying I know, and I've been working with a springer bolt action sniper (a well m701b to be exact) and decided I wanted something a little more ergonomic, thus I present to you a simple ambidextrous straight pull bolt handle replacement. its sturdy (provided you use a reasonable infill percentage), feels nice to use, doesn't obstruct sights (at least any that I have tried it with) and makes your sniper rifle a little bit more unique and personalised. I have removed my safety as I find it makes the fit nicer and would recommend you do the same. I would be more than happy to design more of these if there is demand so don't hesitate to let me know. made it and had an issue? LET ME KNOW! I'll do my best to fix the issue and make this and future products even better. thanks for your time.

PS: I am sadly not aware if this is compatible with other airsoft rifles as my collection is still growing, but as far as I'm aware, many are very similar and have interchangeable parts, so give it a go and let me and the rest of the community know.

3D printing settings

I often find its best practice to go with the manufacturers printing suggestions for your material.

I mostly use PLA for my prints so my suggestions will be based on this

I personally print a first layer at a nozzle temperature of 216 degrees Celsius with a bed temperature of 50 degrees Celsius and with the first 4 layers at 25 mm/s *or roughly half of your materials recommended speed)

Infill of a very minimum of 15% I would say is safe, and with an infill pattern that distributes itself as evenly as possible.

i would also recommend printing in the orientation shown to minimise the need for supports and to maximise the operational strength of the piece.
