Transformers Armada Cyclonus Hip & Thigh Upgrade

This is an upgrade kit to the Transformers Armada Cyclonus / Cyklotron mold that gives the figure full hip and thigh articulation. The parts are also Blast Effect compatible!

Disassembly of the original figure required. A rivet will need to be removed! I did this by drilling off the head of the rivet with an appropriately sized drill bit and then pulling it out.

** ARMD-CYCL-03-01-03 and ARMD-CYCL-04-02-03 are functionally the same part. Somewhere along the line a duplicate was made. Now they are slightly different. ARMD-CYCL-03-01-03 has hip peg closer to the dimensions of the original thigh. ARMD-CYCL-04-02-03 has a slightly stubbier peg. Which is better depends on how tight you want the joint and your sanding and painting process.

ARMD-CYCL-03-02-03 and ARMD-CYCL-03-03-03 are use as needed. The original waist is really hard to disassemble, to the extent in one of 4 uses of this kit, I needed to print a replacement. You might need to as well.

Some additional hardware is also needed for assembly:
2x M3 x 8 mm Machine Screw
1x M2 x 6 mm Machine Screw if original waist screw strips out
2x M2 x 12 mm Machine Screw (12 mm is the min. length. They can be longer).
2x M2 Machine Screw, washers, and nut to leg replace rivet (length as required for washers and nut used)

With all pieces, sanding may be required for a good fit, depending on your printer and settings. Paint may affect final fit.

I printed this model in 1.75 mm PLA Plastic, with a .4mm nozzle filament printer. Support material required. Different print orientations may vary results, sanding may be required after printing.
