ModuBases is a set of 3D printable miniatures bases with a unique snap-fit "core + base" structure which allows you to easily change the shape and size of the base on your miniatures so you can use your minis in any edition of any tabletop game.
ModuBases solves the problem of having to constantly cut off and replace pre-existing bases or use adaptors or movement trays to make your miniatures compatible with different games, or keep up with different editions of the same game every few years, a time-consuming and frustrating task. It is a "one and done" solution for all your basing needs.
With ModuBases, you only need to base your miniatures on to a Base Core which then snap-fits into the top of any base size or shape you need, with holes for magnets included for extra grip or to make sure that larger metal miniatures remain securely attached. From this point onwards, your miniature collection is future-proofed and you will never have to worry about needing to rebase it for different games or rules/ edition changes in the games you enjoy playing.
This download contains the following 17 STL sets (over 15000 files!):
STL Set #1: ModuBase Cores
Base cores are the "mini-bases" which you glue your miniatures directly on to. Once attached, they then either snap-fit into the bases or connect using magnets glued into the holes provided.
Base Cores are provided in 17mm, 20mm, 25mm, 33mm and 43mm sizes, to suit different sizes of miniatures and ModuBases.
Base Cores are provided with options for Damage dials (visible on either the bottom of the mini, top of the mini, or both), where the visible number changes as you turn the mini on its base. Base Cores include sculpted numbers whereas the bases themselves do not, allowing you to paint numbers or symbols as a piece of secondary status information on the second visible dial on the top (for example, a value which changes as the mini takes damage in the game).
STL Set #2: Square ModuBases
A selection of square ModuBases, covering square bases ranging from 20mm to 250mm, fitting all 5 different sizes of base core and 3 different optional magnet sizes (4mm, 8mm & 12mm).

STL Set #12: Square Adaptor Trays
A set of adaptor trays (sized 25mm, 30mm, 50mm, 60mm & 60x30mm cavalry) to allow people to convert their existing miniatures not using the ModuBases system into games which require a larger base, a new fantasy game will soon be released which this will be very useful for!

*** Free lifetime commercial license included! ***
I would like my designs to be printed and shared with as many people as possible, if your friends see some printouts of my designs and want you to print a few pieces for them, I'd like to support that. If you printed out a bunch of my designs for an event and decide they aren't needed afterwards, I want you to be able to sell them on to others to enjoy instead of them having to be discarded due to the license restrictions. If you're simply looking at selling 3d prints as side income, I'd like to support that too, by offering you a product free from the usual restrictions of expensive, time-limited licenses, monthly subscriptions etc.
All of these reasons are why I'm taking the unusual step of including a free commercial license with everything I sculpt.
A full lifetime commercial license is included with this purchase, allowing you to sell physical printed pieces using the purchased files using the following permissions and restrictions:
You can produce and sell physical prints (printed using your own 3D printer) on any selling platform you like, at any price you like (including free of charge). This includes prints based on modifications of the files you have made (e.g. using the DIY Kit to make your own custom bases).
You cannot resell STL files you have purchased, or share them with others for free.
You cannot create moulds and casts using the STL files purchased.
You cannot claim that the designs were created by you.
Please attribute the original creator using a line such as "Designed by Warscape 3D" if you can in the description of your online store, ideally with a link to this website included unless external links are prohibited by the selling platform (eBay etc.).
You can freely use painted and unpainted product photographs from our website to help you sell your prints, just copy & paste them straight from the site.
Warscape 3D reserves the right to revoke the commercial licensing agreement for any user at any point (e.g. if a user breaches the terms listed above). If this occurs you will retain personal usage of the files, but the commercial license rights will be permanently revoked from all files you have purchased.
Goblin miniature is a sculpt by Mantic Games and used for illustrative purposes only, to demonstrate the usage of the bases.
