Here's a super cute Christmas gingerbread house!
You can use it either as a candy bowl (see photos) or a lighted decoration!
Like most of my projects:
-All the parts are already placed in the right orientation for printing.
-All the parts are support free
-You don't need a multicolor printer to print this model. Made of individual parts. (See last picture)
Plus, the whole project is printable on a mini size printer like the Prusa Mini or Bambu Lab A1 Mini!
So everyone will have fun with it.
Please, read carefully the instructions, because this project is a bit different than my other ones. Some parts, like the windows and door are different than usual.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
-FUZZY SKIN:
To add a snow effect, the base is printable with fuzzy skin. Two bases are included, one designed for a regular printing, the other one is for fuzzy skin settings. The tolerances on the holes are a little bit greater to compensate for the fuzzy skin. So use the right one! :)
You can also use fuzzy skin on other parts. But remember; fuzzy skin add some thickness to the parts. So scale them with this in mind. For example, i have use fuzzy skin on the chimney snow and the Christmas trees. So i have scaled the chimney snow at 103% to be sure it fits on the chimney. And because the christmas trees have a candy on top, with the fuzzy skin i needed to scale the candy by 103% to make sure it fits on the tree pin.
-CORNER TRIMS:
The corner trims on the house are all differents. So to simplify the whole thing, some parts are labelled with "A" "B" "C" "D", and the others are labelled "1" "2" "3" "4". You will find this info underneath each trim once printed. Refer to the instructions to see where each trim is glued.
-THE LOLLIPOP
You will find two versions of the lollipop in the files.
One for the regular printers. Which means you print the red stripes and the white section of the lollipop separately, and then you glue them together.
One version for the BambuLab Owners with AMS. A complete lollipop (without the stick) with the red and white stripes incorporated in the same file, ready for painting in bambu studio and being print with the AMS.
-DRY FIT CHECK
Always make a dry fit check (without glue) before gluing!!! This will prevent costly errors and you'ill be able to see what could cause a problem or not...
BAMBULAB OWNERS:
A 3mf file of the full project is included in the files. But look closely, some parts are optionnals, like the base (fuzzy skin or not) and the lollipop (both versions). Choose the ones you want.
ORIENTATION:
Some parts have a specific orientation. Like the icing on the roof, which seems square but its not. With the dry fit check i mentionned above, you will be able to find the correct orientation prior gluing.
Because this project is a bit differrent than the others, i have included those instructions to the dropbox files. So you can refer to them at any time in addition to the regular exploded views.
In any case, if you have any kind of problems with the files, feel free to send me a message here or on my Facebook page! ;)
Have fun and Happy Holidays!!!
