3D model description

If you are a parent and you want a project to do for you're kid this is the perfect thing. A solar oven is a oven that uses the suns rays to cook you're food. The one that I have designed is a box around 30cm long, 30cm wide and 15cm tall although this can be changed to suit you by scaling it. it consists of two parts, the lid and the base the base is a box with no top and the lid goes on top with a square hole in the top of it. All of the inner walls you will have to cover with aluminium foil and seal the top square hole with glad wrap. As the light shines in through the top hole covered with glad wrap it bounces around on the aluminium foil until it hits the food or heats up the space. you can cook all types of food with your kid, smores, eggs, and if yours works well enough bacon.

3D printing settings

I printed mine at 30% infill and half size due to my lack of filament. this model is for FDM printing although it would be cool to see it in a resin print. just remember when printing that the bigger it is the harder it will be for the inside to heat up. This model has multiple holes so put glad wrap over each of them.
