3D model description

I designed and printed a magic sphere with the same working principle as the Rubik's cube. It is solved in the same way.

I uploaded two options: one with smooth centers so that they rotate smoothly and without difficulty, the problem is that you have to align the pieces very well for it to work without jamming. The second option is with the centers with a spline that allows self-centering of the parts for better operation.

There are also two center cap options: plain or marked with a ring for better identification.

Pay close attention to the assembly of the center: 6 M3 x 20 mm screws with washers and 6 springs of 6 or 7 mm diameter by 20 mm long are needed. Please refer to the photos for the assembly order.

3D printing settings

All internal parts I printed in PETG with layer height 0.3mm except for the pyramid nuts which I printed in 0.2mm.

The colored caps I printed them with PLA at 0.2mm layer height.

Everything can be made in PLA, some parts require a little support.
