Caporossello Lighthouse - Realmonte/Agrigento, Italy

The Capo Rossello Lighthouse is located in the municipality of Realmonte, Sicily. It is located at the tip of Capo Rossello, a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The lighthouse was built in 1859 and is 40 meters high. The tower is cylindrical and has a white lantern that emits a beam of white light every 10 seconds. The lighthouse is an important landmark for maritime navigation and also offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Sicilian coast.

The Capo Rossello Lighthouse is also the brightest lighthouse in Sicily.

You can try different settings, for this 3D model mine are:

• Material: VOXELAB PLA, white.

• Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm

• Layer Height: 0.2mm

• Infill: 15% or more

• Supports: Yes.

Important things to know:
- As for the glass, I used a piece cut from a plastic bottle and inserted it into the groove I created in the heart of the lighthouse and on the roof. To prevent it from moving or falling, I recommend using glue.
- The only part of the structure that needs supports is the balcony/protrusion of the lighthouse.
- In order to have a reproduction as faithful as possible to the lighthouse, I went in person to take photos, both from the ground and from the drone.
